The Design Consultation
This allows us to see what you want and get everything ready for the workshop. The design consultation and making workshop will be on two to three seperate days.
Make your own Wedding Rings
We know organising the big day can be stressful, but we have something which is fun and will make your day even more special. Why not make your own wedding rings?
The aim of our wedding ring workshop is that you will make each other's wedding rings. What better way to symbolise your commitment to one another, than making the very rings you'll wear to show this.
Throughout the day you will be melting, forming and soldering. Don't worry if you have never done anything like this before, one of our goldsmiths will be on hand to guide you through the process.
The Workshop Day
One of our highly skilled goldsmiths will guide you through making each other's wedding rings over the course of the day.
At the end of the day the rings will be complete, but will have to remain with us. This is for hallmarking and any detailing needing done.
Frequently asked questions
Must be paid to secure the date of your workshop day. This is non-refundable due to the materials that will be bought especially for you. Days can be rearrange at no extra cost.
Fitted Wedding Rings
It's a little bit more complicated to make but don't worry its still possible and your goldsmith will be with you at every step of the way. If you need a fitted wedding ring your workshop will be split over two half days.
Your ring can be made in any precious metal
9ct and 18ct white, yellow, rose gold.
If you have sentimental metal that you would like to use this is certainly possible. If you require more metal than what you already have to create your rings we can mix with new, but it may affect the quality when mixed together.
Fairtrade Gold is available, approval is required before the workshop, for more information please click here
(metal available - 9ct and 18ct white, yellow and rose gold)
*Please note workshop days will likely have to be split into two for palladium and platinum, this is due to the complexity of working with these metals.
Gemstones and Engraving
This can be done afterwards
We are very happy for your rings to include gemstones and engraving. It's not something that we can teach someone in a day, therefore we will do this for you after the workshop.
Health & Safety
There will be a short briefing about this when you arrive in the morning.
If you have any injuries please let us know before arriving.
Long hair must be kept tied back.
Please note you will be using heating equipment, however unlikely, may damage clothing and you will get dirty while polishing. Aprons are provided but we recommend not wearing baggy and expensive clothing.
